3D Artist magazine recently reviewed the ZBrush for 3D Artists course now available for purchase from Escape Studios. This 28 hour course comprised of 139 streaming videos and downloadable source files starts with the very basics and covers nearly every feature ZBrush has to offer! 3D Artist gave it an overall rating of 9/10 with a full 10/10 for overall usefulness.
“Instructions are concise and easy to follow. The pace is slow and steady, which helps all the information soak in, and boy, there is a lot of information! … If you have difficulty getting to grips with ZBrush then this in-depth course is essential.” – Andrew Hickinbottom for 3D Artist magazine

Happy New Year ZBrushers! The team at Pixologic hopes you had a great holiday season and we wish you the best for 2011. We expect to see some amazing artwork from you guys this year! Speaking of amazing artwork, a new thread has been featured on the Top Row at ZBrushCentral. Congrats to ZBC artist luoqisheng for making it! His sculpt is a tribute to the great American actor Clint Eastwood. Along with the final renders, luoqisheng includes screen shots from ZBrush as well as a breakdown for the lighting setup. The artwork is pretty impressive (we’re quite fond of the hand specifically). Hopefully this work will provide you with some inspiration!
