Rick Baker has been a household name to me since I first gleaned your name in the early 80′s (Starlog mag if memory serves) and to see that he’s still in the game today, and finally being recognized like this is both thrilling and inspiring.

Congrats to you Rick Baker! Here’s to the greatest of monster makers! The teachers and students here at LAFilm School idolize and worship the Master. You deserve that star and then some. Even though I’ll be in class that day, I know I speak for the entire Computer Animation department when I say, “We’re all there in spirit.”
