There’s a couple of breakdowns on generating everything from an armoured chest plate to a tattered shawl. You can generate your own armour by utilizing features like masking, extractions, Dynamesh and ZRemesher. Look inside ZClassroom to find video tutorials guaranteed to leave you inspired.
The studio that had you “tap-tap-tapping” away in the seminal hit “Rock Band”, recently secured crowd funding for a reboot of the Amplitude franchise. Tiago Rios aka tiagori on the ZBrushCentral forum, gets us “green” with envy in this latest ZBSee post. Incorporating some dynamic brush work with the slash brush, trim dynamic and alphas really helped this Orc’s armour come to life. Best of all, tiagori used Polypainting, UV Master, Decimation Master and rendered the whole thing inside ZBrush. Check out his mini workflow breakdown inside his user gallery.
This guy needs no introduction. Morgan Freeman has played the role of some memorable characters throughout his career. ZBSee member mridulson does him justice with this “likeness” sculpt. The whole thing started life as a simple sphere and took final form using a combination of sculpting and re-topology tools like ZRemesher guides, ZRemesher, Projection and Alphas inside ZBrush. Be sure to stop by his user gallery to see an in-depth breakdown of his process, including texturing and rendering for his final image. Learn more about mridulson here.
