Whisper detail by William Harbottle on ZBrushCentral William Harbottle has proven to be a huge hit on ZBrushCentral over the years. After a hiatus from posting new works, he has returned with a jaw-dropping collection of character sculpts that have got the community excited about his skills and techniques. The works presented are prototype sculpts for statues that William created while working for Gentle Giant Studios, where he was employed for nine years.

Originally a traditional sculptor of action figures, when he moved into the digital realm he simply “started replicating the same methods”. By popular demand, he offers a glimpse into his work in progress so we can all learn a little from this master! He also shares some wise words on the topic of 3D scanning in digital sculpture.

Be sure to scroll through the pages of his thread to see the full collection and read his professional advice.

William Harbottle is now a Senior Sculptor at Sideshow Collectibles.
