Prince Nuada is a character that I have wanted to make for some time now. It took around 2 weeks to model, texture and develop the shaders. The character has multi-tile UV maps at 4096px each to maximize the resolution and details and is modeled for animation. For the patterns on the cloth I had to hand draw to mach the real one cloth on his costume. Some w.i.p's came be seen on my website.
I am currently working as a freelance 3D Artist from Brisbane, Australia. Previously I worked for the Australian Defense Force as a Multimedia Technician.
THOUGHTS ON ZBRUSH
ZBrush was the first 3d program I used and it is the reason I started 3d modeling. It is a program designed for artists and is a lot of fun.
