The Advent of Wearable 3D Printed Fashion

Shoes Lead In

What does a Dutch commercial diver living in Spain use 3D printing technology for? He makes women’s shoes! Eric Meijer has been working closely with shoe designer Rosanne Bergsma to create high end women’s footwear that is 3D printed and he does it all with the help of his trusty ZBrush software.

“ZBrush is my favorite software. It has an excellent free learning platform called Classroom. They also give fast feedback if you have any questions. It is great value for money, and in the ZBrush gallery you can see mind boggling work from other 3D artists.”

Eric already has several unique designs that are ready for a night out. See what he has to say about shoe design and how 3D printing is improving the industry over at 3DPrint.com
