GOVERNOR Turntable 1, 2 I used a very basic low poly mesh to start with, I don't like using base meshes with any particular edge loops such as eyes, mouth or ears, as I believe they can "lock" you to certain results. I prefer keeping my base mesh as neutral as possible. Once in ZBrush I will start working the main proportions with the Move Brush, and start sculpting the initial volumes with the Rake Brush and Clay Tubes. Other tools that I will use a lot are the Flatten, Inflate, Smooth and Standard with a sharp alpha and some pinching for details. Once I had most of the sculpting done I used Transpose to pose him and finished the model adding further touches. ARTIST'S PROFILE I am passionate about the human figure, character creation and digital art. I work as Sr. Character Artist at BioWare, Austin, and used to teach modeling and texturing in Brazil. I simply LOVE ZBrush. I love what I can do with it and I love its interface. Once I am back home, after a long day working in many different softwares, I help my wife with the kids, have dinner, watch something on TV and once everybody is sleeping I turn on my computer and start sculpting in ZBrush. Although I like all the tools I use at work, the only one I use to have fun is ZBrush :) Website: http://www.manufato.com
