I did the base mesh in Maya and then detailing and shaping in ZBrush and
I was mainly using Standard Brush, polygroups, Masking, inflate deformation, Extract, Edge Loop, Alpha, shadowbox, features.
I have been working in the film and game industry for about 8 years as a 3D artist. Currently I am working as a freelancer.
Now ZBrush is my main tool for character/environment sculpting and it is a very powerful tool for quick and intuitive sculpting.
