Revisiting An Old Favorite

Funny Garbage seems to be on the curve of what’s hip and cool in the world of digital clay. Fred Kahl, a Creative Director with the firm is utilizing ZBrush to bring an old american favorite back to life using 3D printing technology. Luna Park at Coney Island represents a time and place locked in the American sub-conscience. The place is part myth, part fantasy but all american. Of course Kahl’s Coney island is a miniature representation of the historic coastal playground. We think Luna Park founders Frederic Thompson and Elmer “Skip” Dundy would approve of this miniature version produced using the help of a MakerBot printer.
