Zoetropes were groundbreaking inventions in their day and exposed people to the possibilities of animation in one of its earliest forms. This breathtaking zoetrope showcases various time periods throughout the cultural history of western civilization and was made using the modern flexibility of ZBrush and 3D printing. Artists Mat Collishaw and Sebastian Burdon spent over six months detailing the more than 350 character figures using ZBrush and then printing this amazing piece of art. Imagine chiseling the same piece from marble by hand!
