Artist and entrepreneur Zack Patroc has been a part of the ZBrush community for so long that it’s hard to imagine a time when he wasn’t around. In fact, he was the creator of the “Super Average Man” model that has been included with every ZBrush release since version 2. He infuses his work with a Fine Arts sensibility that is easily recognized in everything he undertakes.

Back in 2004 we interviewed Zack about his work on Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Two years later we caught up with him again for an Artists in Action video that is especially interesting to watch now, after the recent release of Disney’s John Carter.
