This is the eleventh part of the fan art figurine creation series that was broadcasted on ZBrushLIVE. Using ZBrush, Thomas digitally sculpts 2B of the NieR Automata video game using fan art as reference.
For this sessions, Thomas explained how he created some parts offline as well as how he splitted the models for the 3D printing process. He explained as well some more details about the 3D printing, how and why hollowing some models and how the create the model thickness and keys.
The latest part of the video is dedicated to the 3D printing post process by removing the supports, sanding and much more. Some tools imported from Japan are presented as well.
